Reed Hoffmann has been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years, working at papers in the midwest, south and east coast. Two-time NPPA (National Press Photographers Association) Regional Photographer of the Year winner, he now divides his time between photo assignments and digital photography consulting, as a partner in Blue Pixel (www.bluepixel.net). Photo assignments have taken him from Morocco and New Zealand to Borneo and other exotic locations. In addition to shooting, he's taught digital photography at over 30 newspapers across the US and in Asia, and also teaches Nikon School of Photography digital programs (www.nikonschool.com), Geek Cruises (www.geekcruises.com), Pack Paddle Ski trips (www.packpaddleski.com) and American Photo Mentor Series (www.mentorseries.com) workshops across the US and the world. Bill Durrence is a professional photographer with a bit of wanderlust and curiosity about what things might look like around the next bend. He particularly enjoys travel and location oriented assignments, using photography as a method for exploring the world. He is also a photography instructor and consultant, and leads national and international photographic workshops and tours. As an Associate with Blue Pixel, a major digital imaging consulting firm, Bill is the lead instructor for the Nikon School of Digital Photography.

Bill teaches the Nikon School digital programs for Blue Pixel, and came to Blue Pixel after 14-years at Nikon, the last nine teaching the popular Nikon School of Photography program.

Bill was graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism (ABJ) and a minor in Art/Photographic Design. He has over 35 years experience as a photographer shooting editorial and commercial assignments, as well as a variety of personal work, and has been teaching photography for over 25 years, both basic and advanced classes in undergraduate academic programs and various seminar/workshop formats.
