 DERRICK STORY

Derrick is a professional photographer, writer, and teacher. He’s authored several digital media books, including The Digital Photography Companion (O’Reilly Media) and iPad for Digital Photographers (Wiley & Sons). Derrick is a Senior Contributor for Macworld magazine, Associate Editor for c’t Digital Photography magazine, and he’s a regular presenter on the popular training site, lynda.com featuring titles on Aperture, iPhoto, Flickr, and photo technique. He’s been on assignment all over the world, including Beijing for the 2008 Summer Olympics, Iceland for the Adobe Iceland Adventure, and Germany for Photokina, to name a few. He leads four to six workshops a year as part of his The Digital Story series. Online, Derrick has formed a virtual camera club called The Digital Story (www.thedigitalstory.com) that’s open to all photography enthusiasts. The site features weekly podcasts, daily posts, training videos, and reader-submitted photos.
