• Board the Tosca around 1pm and enjoy lunch onboard
• Sail away mid-afternoon
• En route pass through the Esna Lock
• Spend the night docked in Esna

Just before dawn, we’ll cruise to El Balyana to visit the Abydos site, the cult center for Osiris, the god of the underworld. After visiting the fine bas reliefs and delicately detailed chapels at the Temple of Seti I, it’s back to the Hamees for lunch onboard and a short lecture. Downtime follows as we sail to the Nile Port of Sohag, our location for the night.
