Sisse Brimberg, a photographer for National Geographic since 1976, has published more than 30 stories ranging from the Far Eastern corners of Japan's paper industry to Northern Europe's Viking culture. Born and raised in Copenhagen, her work has been exhibited around the world, including in her homeland as well as Germany, Greece, Brazil, Mexico, at the International Center for photography in New York City, and at the Newseum in Washington, DC. Brimberg's article on migrant workers was honored with the Picture Story of the Year award from the National Press Photographers' Association.
Other articles she has photographed for the Geographic include, "The Fragile Recovery of California Sea Otters," "When the Greeks Went West," and "The Hanseatic League: Europe's First Common Market."
Ms. Brimberg was also one of the five photojournalists featured in the book, "Woman Photographers at National Geographic." She has recently completed a book on the Royal Danish Theatre to be published this fall.
Cotton Coulson is also an award-winning photojournalist who began his early career shooting for National Geographic at age 21. He also has worked as the Director of Photography at "The Baltimore Sun" and "U.S. News & World Report."
Recognized by American Photographer magazine as one of the "New Faces in Photojournalism," his work has also been honored by the White House Press Photographers' Association and the National Press Photographers' Association. His documentary essay on Ireland was exhibited at Nikon House in New York.
His assignments for National Geographic included cover stories on "The Baltic Sea," "Two Berlins — A Generation Apart," "A New Day for Ireland," as well as features on Estonia, "Oregon's Lovely, Lonely Coast," and,"The Voyage of Brendan." He is currently working on a series of photographs that explore the visual dimensions between narrative and abstract image making.
Together, Mr. Coulson and Ms. Brimberg have photographed two well-received children's books for National Geographic. Their photos illustrated National Geographic Deutschland's January 2005 cover story on King David. And, they are both photographers for a book to be published in 2008 on Nemours Mansion and Gardens. They are also contributing photographers to Getty Exclusive in London.

Joseph Schorr is the senior product manager for Apple's Aperture. Before joining Apple, Schorr was a contributing editor and columnist at Macworld Magazine and co-authored eight books about the Mac, including two editions of iPhoto: The Missing Manual.
Sal Soghoian is widely touted as "the" AppleScript Guru and driving force behind the continued expansion and acceptance of AppleScript. He began scripting in 1992, after discovering AppleScript could automate the publishing-related tasks at his service bureau. After spending years as an early "online evangelist," Sal continued to serve the AppleScript community as the AppleScript Product Manager at Apple. Throughout his tenure, AppleScript's importance, use, and integration has grown, becoming the indispensable tool for automation and communication on the Mac.
